I am new to this so bear with me! What does walkerized mean? I saw this on my previous post and on many others. It sounds like something I would like to do to my saw. More power! Haarrrr!!!!:blob2:

Brain,
Go to the thread "Greffardized" when you don't have anything to do for a few hours. There's quite a bit of information about modified saws and who does them in there. You'll learn a little about the personalities of people who frequent this board as a bonus. At any rate "Walkerized" refers to saw modifications done by John Walker and his people up at Walker's Saw Shop.

Just want to put in my 2 cents about Walkers Saw shop. They have been in buisness for 50 years and have been customizing saws for over 18 years. I bought a walkerized saw this year and so far love the saw. Also if you have a question John or someone is right at the other end of the line.
That being said, I have not had the privelage of dealing with the other saw builders on this forum, except via e-mail, yet, (working man), but plan too as soon as I can. Have fun, and keep your moth closed when you cut:cool:
