This is a true story:
When I was 17 I cycled from Toronto to Vancouver, anyway, when I got to Revelstoke B.C. I was climbing the Rogers Pass, which took maybe 3-4 hrs. When I got to the summit, I put my Peugeot U08, 10 speed into high gear and flew as fast as I could pedal. I noticed I was gaining on a vehicle looming closer and closer. They were hogging the passing lane, so I pulled over in the slow lane and crouched down to look an elderly couple in the eye as I sped by their Volvo. I would say they were doing 45mph and I was doing 50-52

Oh, I forgot to mention, Marty of chainsaw world looks like he was demonstrating how a kickback happens. Check out the bar interfering with the cant ahead of it. This is a very dangerous sichiation. Just one more reason why shorter bars are safer and more productive.
