Brian, I take that animated gif you linked in your post as you calling me a liar. That's a bit further than disagreeing with an opinion about a thing and is quite antagonistic. When you'd said all the new saws across the full range in your dealer's shop had fixed-jet carbs did I call you a liar? No, it would be impossible for me to correctly do that. I suggested you were mistaken, and anyone can go and look at the saws and draw their own conclusion. When you'd stated that 3000 saws, both MS270 and MS280 had been recalled for tank cap problems did I call you a liar? No need. Anyone can check to see that the recall was MS170 and MS180, thus either you or your source were likely mistaken. Did you knowingly provide false information? Why do you think I would? It seems the way things are progressing that if the day ever comes when we're together in the same place there'll be a good likelihood of a serious disagreement. I don't mean that as a threat in any way - it's just an observation. If that's not what you're looking for, then why do you insist on using stimulus appropriate for it? There's nothing wrong with being mistaken about something; am I mistaken about this?
Ben, as you well know, on a posted 25 MPH, clean canyon road there's no comparison between a good bike and a good car. The bike (that one anyway) can comfortably maintain double the speed limit in that venue, mostly without appearance of even doing so. On a long stretch of open road the table would decisively turn on that car and that bike. I was so far gone by the time one came up it would have been a moot point unless the 'vette driver was "on a mission". This post will no doubt get purged, so there's no need to reply.
