Just thought I would share a video of our family cutting, splitting, and stacking 5 FC (1.66 cord) onto our trailer. Total time working was about 4.5 hours with a 1 hour lunch break in the middle of it.
FLRA-Dave: How about some picks of the LT 60H/LX115 if you have them?
Are you hiring?
Looks pretty handy. How much does something like that run if you don't mind me asking?
Ouch! I think I will continue to cut and load by hand lol. That was $20k. LT60H trailer, LX115 loader, power pack, and the promo at the time was a "free" backhoe/dump box kit. That was March of 2015.
If it didn't pay for itself, then I would still be cutting/loading by hand as well.Ouch! I think I will continue to cut and load by hand lol.
I only sell firewood not logs, so it would take years for me to make it worth it. It would make life easier though, but until then it's my gym program. If it didn't pay for itself, then I would still be cutting/loading by hand as well.
