Where would a fella get a Mc BP-1 as i might be interested in buying one, it must be a goer as there wouldn't be to many parts availble here downunder.

Any sellers out there ??????

Bob

They are hard to locate. I thought I had one. I paid for it. It never worked out though because of reasons I had better not post here. Good luck Bob as I am still looking for one also.

The picture of the BP-1 I posted resides at the house-o-saws. I had a bunch more of Larry’s (chainsaw57) collection unfortunately I had a PC crash a while back and lost most of them. I guess it’s time for another visit to HOS in the near future.

Hope the one i find is as good as the one in the photo's that woodsjunkie attached,
She sure looks purdy nice there fellas.
I'd say better than new looks wise at least.

Here is a video of me running a BP1 at our old saw contest at Baraboo Wis. I have posted this video before, so some of you might already have it. Just trying to save you from downloading if you already have it. This saw has 3/8 round chisel chain. It makes a huge diference in performance compared to the original self sharpening chain. This saw will compete at the Washington county fair contest (z4lunch) for stock saws 50cc and less. I think it might surprise a few people. At Baraboo, it was only beaten by a 1-55, and it was close. The year before we were cutting smaller wood, about 12", and it beat all geardrives.
