I saw a add for Husqvarna 181se and just wanted to hear the thoughts on this saw what would be the max I should pay are they good saws etc. It is listed for 380 cad is this worth it or what let me know!

They are very good saws, and $380 is a fair price for a good running saw. They are very high compression and strong 80cc's and some came with thin ring pistons. Things to look out for are cracked crank case in front of the front bar stud (leaking bar oil), split starter rope spool (rope will bind up) this is from the high compression and no decompression valve. Some of these saws also came with a governed carb which make them tricky to tune, but this can be remedied by plugging the governor with a 1/4" welch plug (those governed carbs have a brass screw below the choke shaft).
