Reading the Instructions,,, Is not an Option,,,,,OK?????

I guess I ditched them,,, and Since I've learned your supposed to wash them before you use them,,, Well,,, too Late!!!! :monkey: :monkey: :monkey:

You should always keep your chaps/pants clean from sap and oil as they both has a negative effect on the protection !!!
I would never buy a pair that can't be washed, but it seems a bit strange that you have to wash a new pair !?!?

yes, you're probably right, but keep them clean after purchase?:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

O.K. guys, let's see your chaps!

Here's mine -about 8 years old - and by PNW standards, really really clean. I did wash them off with the hose last year after crawling though the mud on my knees. As a comparison to new, the chaps would be the same (or brighter) color as the saw...

:hmm3grin2orange: Wash my chaps? Probably not. All the oil and pitch and such makes them almost waterproof. Also, my firewood log deck is in a pasture shared with some cows...a little green stuff on your chaps doesn't hurt either. Just buy a new pair whenever it's called for.
