Wayne 16 Inch Chipper

Hey guys,

New to the site here and am in need of some assistance.

I bought an older wayne chipper, it needs blades really bad.. after about 5 hours I got them out.. Managed to strip out most of the 1/2 bolts the screw into the bar that holds the knife in place..

Any one know where I can get these bolts?

Hi Chris,

I might have these in stock. Is it a countersunk bolt? If so, what is the overall length of the bolt? I may need to know the thread count in 1" of the threads in order to figure out if it's fine thread which I think it is.

Make sure you get a grade 8 or better on the bolts.

I just picked up a FMC C16 chipper. it took me a while to get it running. my question is when i pull out the throttle it revs up but then the throttle slowly slides back lowering the rpms. i havent put any anything large thru it yet only small brush. is that normal seems to rev up and down

That is not normal and you should always run the motor at full speed. If it's a gas engine, you may need a new governor. Could it be that the throttle handle is moving?

Yes when i pull out the throttle it slowly slides back in
