Hey Folks. I’m sure a lot of you can relate. I’m way more competent working on trees than computers. I started my business in June 22’ after 8 years with a PHC company. I learned a lot of things I did not want to do with my own business but I’m struggling to relate that message via a website. I built a halfass site through squarespace two years ago but am not getting traffic and I know a website should be the foundation to my business growth. I’m still owner operator and want to build my clientele and efficiencies before hiring someone.

What did you do when it came to your website and what did you find to be successful?

Assuming your marketing budget is zero or near that, do the free or near-free things like:

A single home page done well, is cheap and much more effective than a mediocre site with more than one page

Get on any tree work or landscape related contractors lists

Develop relationships with your local OPE shops. Give the staff amazing prices on tree work

Establish relationships with your local and county chambers of commerce. Go to business events. Give the staff amazing prices on tree work

Introduce yourself to your local and county political party offices staffs. Give the staff amazing prices on tree work

Post business cards on bulletin boards at churches, hardware stores, building materials stores, supermarkets

Ask if you can post yard signs at homes of existing customers

Great recommendations. I've been to 2 BNI chapter meetings, hard to devote that much time during the busy season, just me, myself an I.

I've been thinking about filming AirSpade work as it is fascinating! Filming would slow me down though. My attention to detail slows me down enough
