Just got back from the Family Wood Cutting week at the camp. Had a great time with Dad and Uncle Wayne.

Here's the bucking spot near the beginning of the week.

Here's a few more from various times throughout the week..... I think the fourth one is near the end of the week.

Cool pictures! Looks like you could do a bit of thinning in there eh?

Did you find skidding the logs got too much dirt in em and dulling your chain?

Great pics, thanks for posting!

I think he has a log arch on that quad so there shouldn't have been too much dirt?

Either way, looks like a fun time. Sawdust, fresh wood, family, camp ..... excellent!

More pics??

Marc, the arch helps alot, there's a lot less dirt. I put some pics of it in action in a different post...... Sorry I got a bit confused and reposted the pics of me felling (The wife wanted to go somewhere and I did things in a hurry.... just realized that I started adding the pics to the other post "ATV --Arch --......")

There's a bunch more pics if anyone is interested I'll keep putting them up..... felling/skidding/burl shots/decent hardwood stand pics/deer in the front yard of the camp/landscape/ etc.

Let me know if anyone's interested, I'll add them to the "ATV -- Arch -- ....." thread as I already have some other felling pics there.

Cheers

Chris
