Many thanx to all who have welcomed me!! Here in AL, I've just been clearing the forest and swamp to see the trees and gators better. And no, re: the space bet. me and Jeff....it just worked out that way!!!!

The last tree I climbed WAS with a ladder (mostly), only to get up a bit further to tie it off. Was just trying to save the cedar.

You don't have to use a ladder just cause Jeff said not to....

The lowest branch was about 12 feet up and I'm short, needed the ladder...ladder went 16, I went about 20, perfect placement for the rope angle. I really don't usually use a ladder because everything can just fall, but this time was necessary. Thanks for..........! Gotta get back outside, back this afternoon...C-ya
