was gunna SELL IT AND BUY A 461 but one of them would have to have a lot more touqe than a 660 for
me to do it .
i cant beleve what it will cut for a tank it is about 25% better on fuel than me stock 460 was

Yeah I don't think there would be much difference between your ported 460 and a ported 461. Except for the new jug and crankcase almost everything else is the same on those saws.

well on the redgum again today i'm gunna have to get a mill one day all solid

not happy with that part of the day but the rest was great

well i did a comparison with the 390 and 460 think it's about 2.5 to 3 seconds so in that size wood
as far as i'm concerned there pretty much the same .
except the 460 has better fuel economy a fact i find hard to believe it even use's les than me stock 460 did
well here are the vids think the log is about28" 29"

I would bet that the 390 has quite a bit more intake timing than the 460. If I remember right you had a popup done in the 390 after it was ported.....that would gain you a couple more degrees of intake, lower the exhaust and transfers a bit and add some torque.

Too much intake doesn't really hurt performance.......but it really puts a dent in fuel economy.

gday randy matt had that done , you excelled ya self on this saw this wood is a fair bit harder than oak
to be honest i though it would struggle with a 32" bar but as you can see it ain't no problem at all
a big thanks again you have restored my faith in the best saw built (for my application) spose i should check
the comp hot and see what it is

cheers D

Native Australians :D Dogs tend not to like them either...

thats what i'm talking about,
the olds had a servo/roadhouse years ago ,i can remember getting woke up late one night by someone screaming in pain, turned out to be a native fella that broke into the compound behind the servo,on his way out our rotty nailed him just before he got back over the fence,at the time i was living in a caravan out the back, when i saw what was going on i went back to bed knowing the dog was ok,he had old mate by the arse/thigh ,next morning i checked things over only to find nothing missing and some blood on the fence, funny how nothing ever came of that.months later i shared a house with some mates only to get a call at work saying my dog was crook and dieing,by the time i got home he was gone, pretty sure he was baited, there was alot of that going on, was it payback, who knows,RIP Bundy .
