Dude you're the cleanliness king :D It does alright that thing considering it's .404" in hardwood. If that chain is blunt I'd hate to see it sharp!
.

at the start matt 3rd vid you can tell the rakers are too low

Correct, dont wont to wear the CM out blocking its supposed to be my felling saw, there is only one thing to and that is get another one.:D

Another one? Don't be a homo. Get half a duzzen :D

Then send me two...

nah ya rite you most certainly are GET MORE POWER

I agree 99.8%.
However I am still scarred from my first forestry course where I tried a borecut with low rakers and the bastard kicked like a bit*h and made me look rather silly.
I have now been to raker's anonymous and going back to standard or just more than standard raker height makes for a much more pleasurable saw experience.
If I was just bucking or blocking up then bring on the 3120 and low rakers...

well bugger it i'll put them here 3/8 v 404 you would not make the choice of chain on the times i have here. the log dose get bigger as i go even if you take that into consideration 404 comes out on top more time cutting less time sharpening

Goos stuff thanks for taking the time to do them interesting, looks like the 8 pin is the go.
I can smell the Mobil 1 T2 oil from here.:hmm3grin2orange:

If it's anything like Castrol TTS my nose hairs are curling up and my eyes are watering all the way over here...

Na mate my nose hairs are all good and me eyes sorta work up close.

Phew. That Castrol TTS is nasty stuff. With the amount of cutting you've been doing you're nostrils would have been honed out about 2" from it.
I'm sure it's a good oil when you're flat strap on a motorbike and leaving the exhaust gases behind but a bit too acrid from a saw use point of view.
The semi synthetic AGIP I've been using smells like Bubblegum :) Had 20L sitting there for ages so decided I might as well use it. Only have a few litres left I reckon.

I have been using about 600 mil of 2 stroke oil per week over the last few weeks i think im lubricated on the inside, maybe that is the beer but.;)

I bet your well lubed nostrils make it easier for the Redgum encrusted boogers to slide out into your hanky :)
