Just picked up this 038 mag II today, P&C are super clean and score free, there's a couple things that need upgrades (AV mount and bar stud faceplate (prolly not the right term)

I own one that was built in '78 or '79. Runs every single time.

Had to buy an aftermarket handle for it...

Never had a more reliable saw....lots of torque and heavy....

Better send it to me....so I can "break it in for you"...

I am selling off a few pieces in order to pick up a 038 mag, guy is a friend of mine so he said he would hold on to it. Nice Acquisition.

Thanks all, took it up camping this weekend and after tuning it up (prior owner ran it waaaaay rich, better than lean for sure!) it runs like a madman, just need to score some av mounts and clean out the muffler so it doesn't smoke like a forest fire
