Wish I could but that's a heckuva drive from Michigan. I have been to E-town...spent several months at Ft. Knox. I'd be too tempted to hang out w/ tankers all day at Ft. Knox and corrupt all the ladies from E-town to Louisville at night.

Also, I spoke with the mill owner this morning about some soft cants. It looks like a go on that. What kind of wood should I be gettin? Pine? Poplar? Balsa?

Surely you can find something softer than Balsa....

I have never seen that be the case at a GTG, drinks don't come out untill late evening after the saws have been put away.

Terry has a GTG here in TN that is great. No drinking till the saws are put away. I've got nothing against drinking, it's just that there is a time and place for everything.
