Ever see a dog try to guard the whole family from lightning and thunder? That dog wouldn't sleep the whole night. Kept going back and forth from our room to the kids room stressing out. Good dog. Has the guardian instincts.

Not exactly; but my youngest son bought a registered 8 week old Bluetick hound, and it slept with him for years.
She was just like one of the family. When my grandchildren were small, that hound was like a nurse maid to them. If they whimpered, she was right there checking on them.

This all reminds me of the Court Show on TV. A woman was seeking a divorce from her old husband, and she was bringing up every excuse she could think of. Finally, she told the Judge, that he even threatened to kill her little dog.
Judge to the Husband: "Is this true? Did you threaten to kill her dog?"
Husband: "Yes your Honor, but that dog doesn't like me, and I was sleeping late that morning, and her dog jumped up on the bed, and peed on me, and I yelled; I'm gonna kill that dog."

Mine caught and ate a rabbit the other day. Ate the WHOLE DAMN THING. Like a boss.

If you look close you can see it's leg hanging from his mouth.

Great now my dog wants to get a piece, thinking about a Keltec. Seems she heard about some crazy guy going around picking fights with dogs that knows martial arts. I told her we'll go look at 45's instead.
