Tear it apart. Rig/disable the button.
Pop a vent line in the tank and place check valve. Cap with rubber cap.

Careful, the threads for the can are fine so easily cross threaded and leaks.

Other than these things it holds gas as stated. POS

If you did all this to a No-Spill like in the OP, no wonder you don't like it. Try one for filling saws as it was designed.

They work great for small engines. No good for vehicles.
I use them for unmixed gas exclusively. Having a unique can just for unmixed fuel greatly reduces the chance of straight gassing a 2 stroke. And now my wife no longer pours mix into the lawnmower.

It's actually working well " so far ".
No leaks, no overflows as you can toggle the little button for an immediate stop.
All my other cans / jugs are ole school, I just had to experiment

I agree with the comments submitted by " EchoRomeoCharlie" regarding the gas container. I have had two for 3 years now, they work great.

Works great for filling small tanks.
The plastic "can" is tough, too - I accidentally drove my tractor over the back of it and while gas did come out around the seal, the tank didn't crack and bounced mostly back into shape.

this particular nozzle sucks, I have one. the diameter is too small, and they take forever to pour out 5 gallons into my boat or zero turn. ok to fill a chainsaw though.

Those are for old school 2.5-gal metal cans, WITH A SEPARATE VENT. They flow plenty fast with a vent.

You want fast, get an original not chi-com, GI Jerry can.
