Old post but no response, so... The 445e has the same cylinder & piston as the 450. But has a heavy catalytic muffler. Buy a replacement muffler for $15, modify it, and your 445 will have more power than a stock 450. No performance aftermarket cylinders are available for it, and no larger Husqvarna cylinders either.
