dbh origins

The more I think about it, the more it seems that maybe dbh wasn't important in Europe with species and tree size being less likely to have much butt swell. (Tree size being smaller from intensive forestry and also climate.)
Maybe dbh wasn't really that significant in Europe.

Yes, the North American population does appear to have a problem with "butt swell". Trees and people.

Myself and 3 of my buddies from my first real job just about got kicked out of a bar by judging the backsides of the fairer sex in axehandles. We may have been a bit loud. Beer does that somehow...not sure about that one yet. More experimentation is needed. I'm going for a cold one.
