Kevin, yup they look the same as those. They are all likely made by the same company, I like the wedges and never had an issue with them before. I don't use wedges a lot and was playing around trying to direct trees were I wanted them to fall and not in the direction they were leaning. It was a 20" ash that was pretty dry, I was hammering in with my hatchet and pow both wedges shot out the back and the tree fell the opposite way. Wetter wood might have been fine but ash is pretty dry so I figure the little raised notches didn't dig in much and the oil helped slide things along.

REALLY appreciate the heads up with them. I have a bunch of standing dead ash to work up next year and will always plan on them popping just to be safe.

The 046 is the newest, just brought it back to life, I haven't even finished heat cycling the engine yet. 24 inch bar seems to balance Nice. It sure would be nice to find some shiny plastic, at a reasonable price, will let it fit into the family.
forgot to add the pole saw...

I built me a nice log splitter pictured in my avatar... And a Savage Model 10 Precision Carbine, chambered in 308, with a Vortex PST 6-24x50 mounted on the top!

I like those old saws too. I just got this one a couple weeks ago. 129 cc's of 2.75:1 drive reduction. I haven't had time to tinker with it yet, but what I've found with these big saws on the East Coast, is they are usually in great shape inside, because they sat on the back of the truck. They only got used once in a blue moon. This one has a 52 inch bar with half inch chain, Joe.

P.S. I also just bought a new 660 with 25 and 36 inch bars, but every one knows what they look like.

Gotta love the pull rope handle!!!

Newest husky. Scored a brand new in the box t540xp for 450. Sure beats the old temperamental 335xp I had. Been climbing a lot lately

I also scored two more almost new 24" ES wide nose bars for my other husky's for 20 bucks each. I've been running the white bars on my husky's for 4-5 years now. I even made adapters to run them on my pile of 7900's

Very nice Mr Iowa from Missouri! Do you have any videos of your splitter in action? Great gun too!
