Its a Chrysler thing; truck, minivan and Jeeps all suffer from it. Chrysler uses too small a wire in the wiring harness for the lights. Replace the wire from the solenoid to the headlamps with 14ga and they will be much brighter. Worked a treat in my Jeeps.

I thought so! The wires to the bulbs look like 14gauge to me?
