Yep, been watching that saw-envy contest heating up!!!!
No, it's just kinda sad when an ms390 is youre "Big" saw in this group!:deadhorse:

One day I'll post a pic with the big 880 upon the throne and not say a word. I want Lake to see it and go well I'll be damn, he did it,lolol

390 will cut most anything you wanna cut. The saw fever seems to be pounding the hell out of all of us on this site, thats why I like this site.......

I wouldn't consider the 090 still having good parts availability, although the 070 is still made in a couple 3rd world countries from what I gather.

The 084 and 088 are both 121.6 cc. I would say those are probably the largest that still have good parts availability. The 3120 is only 119cc, I think.

"Only 119"????!!!
119 qualifies as a monster in my book. No quantifiable difference between 119 and 121. 2ccs doesn't get you much.

I didn't even realize I put that in there. Kinda funny after I see it. lol.

Yeah only. lol

Don't feel bad..my 390 is my big saw, but hopefully I'l add an 038 Mag to the group sometime soon....I think those big boys are more for looks than work unless you're milling or cutting redwoods...that said, if I could afford it and even begin to justify it, I'd have an 084/088 or 090 just for the cool factor, but probably would be too scared of the 090 since they have no chainbrake!

Have to agree with you there Deisel, after my thumb incedent I am a lot more aware of saftey gear than I was!!!

Yeah, for some. I got my 066 for milling, but DAY'UM, with a 24" bar, it will dispatch the little jobs fast. I don't start up the old Super XL as much anymore, relying more on the 066. Power is addicting. Now, at the end of the day, the Super XL is looking pretty good. The 3120, that will stay on the mill. Too heavy, it has crossed my "line".

C'mon Mark, it's not that heavy. How's it running for you?

Depends on how long the day will be. My 066 is a LOT lighter...I like that.

Running great. What a machine. I'll have to have Lester take some pictures, I never remember my camera.

So, you coming to KC again soon?
