it is a long clamping device that was used by a guy who sharpened chainsaw chains .He would put the bottom of a chain in the groove which i think was plastic and it had handles to lock that clamped the chain in the groove he used it when filing rakers down.It reminds you of a chainsaw bar with plastic rails and a means of clamping both side rails together to pinch the chain between them.Anyone know the name of this tool thanks
 
dunno what it was but sounds like it would be easy to make if youve got an old worn out bar.
I thought about doing that but didnt know if i could just buy one already made the one i seen was used to lock the chain in to file rakers on the chain
