mulberry can be light yellow with rings when it is green, if allowed to sit for a while the outside can change to an orange color, but when you split it, sometimes the inside will be yellow, even when dry enough to burn well. I will post pics of this if needed, I cut mostly mulberry. Central and North Central Kansas is loaded with mulberry.
It grows better than the weeds around here:bang:
