Wish you were closer. Got that drag saw to make a decision about. Froze now but ran when parked lol. Figure running it should be worth double but not sure I have the time or desire to tear it down.
Especially if it turns out to be dicked. I think runners only bring 600-750 and as it sits would have to ask 375 or call it a flower planter and put it on the front porch.
Truck is back together. Waiting till tonight to fire it up so the sealant can set a while. Then I’ll change the oil as I know a little bit of crud fell in as I was pulling the intake.
I think it’s going for sale tomorrow. I’ve had enough of this vehicle.

Around here they double in value with no rust and lowish miles. Replacing a good work trucks tougher than finding a date for the evening.Hopefully she's good to go.
It probably has rust, or I'd be interested, need a good workhorse. I may try to buy something either in FL or on the drive there or back this summer when we go.
I hate rust.
Much easier for me to find a date, my wife will go out anytime it works for us

It’s for display, unless my neighbor pisses me off, then I fire it up on a Sunday morning! It cuts like a dull knife, smokes like a mosquito fogger, vibrates yer hand to sleep in minutes, and it’s no wonder old loggers can’t hear! It’ll look good when I’m done detailing it! Have an old boat motor I restored in the house already, time for an old chainsaw!That's sweet Frizz.

I made it a rule not to date married woman. It just gets too weird around holidays n such. J/K! Well sort of...Much easier for me to find a date, my wife will go out anytime it works for us

I let the RTV set for several hours. Fired up the truck around 8:30 and let it run for a bit. Changed the oil cause I know some crud fell into the lifter galley and head when I was disassembling. Also there was quite a bit of carbon build up in the lifter galley. And a piece of one of the wire retainers from the worse lifter was gone so hopefully that found it’s way to the pan. I’ll run the truck a couple hours tomorrow and then change oil and filer again to hopefully remove most of the gunk.
It sounds like that
would be quite the display

Customer brought this in today, not he's saw he works for a nearby landowner and the first he said as he lifted up the saw; "you want to buy it" then he laughed Needed it to be sharpened and ready for cutting Thursday morning.
I've never fondled one of these but WOW I'm surprised how compact and light weight they are, feels like a 40cc. I can see why someone would like to have one of these around.
And yes; my hair is grey, you can just call me silver totem, ugh.

Just think, the one in my video isn't even broke in yet. Another thing to consider is the 550mk1 has the angled top handle and is a bit faster

Thanks, I think perhaps this guy will be back because the chain looked like it had been through rocks a couple of times and he looked kinda hopefully at me when he asked "can you fix this"
Even though; it was a breeze to do the whole routine on this one compared to just touch up that harvester chain, everything on it was just... bigger. Charged 5 and got 10 with a smile on that one.
