Would a poplar retain flower parts till snow?
A hickory would hold its nuts for a while.
Im not gonna argue it either way, I am not familiar with poplars.

the one in the front of the house in the first picture looks like a pecan.

but we all know its very hard to tell a tree from its bark alone with a few unique exceptions.

i think pecan is related to hick

sas dont have a white middle its yellow

i can't tell the color from those pics--sorta washed out (check the light setting on cam). my sass is greenish tan. poplar is bright white like hackberry. but like i've said, our trees can be a bit different and i really need some shavings and a carton of beer to think any more about it.

also our sass doesn't grow particularly straight. tends to be a bit wavy.

where's that beer?
