Woodpile

Just finishing 5 cord of Alder/Fir mix that was easy access wood. Will probably keep a couple cord for myself and sell off the rest. I've got a couple cord Hemlock left from last years cutting. An additional two cord of Alder ready to sell. Wood sheds are full of Alder, Fir, and Hemlock.
Plenty of stuff left to cut this Winter when there isn't a whole lot else to do.

From last year ,2 cords of sugar maple,4 cords of shagbark and 2 of red oak.

This year I'm working out of a little pile of 10 or 12 cords of pin and white oak and some of the biggest honey locust I've ever seen. There are some 30 inch rounds of that thorny stuff in that pile.I've got about a cord and a half done so far.

Two cords of maple, four cords of red oak. Lining up several wild cherry trees for next year off of a neighbor's fence row.

I have somewhere between three and four cords of Doug Fir in my wood shed and what I'm guessing is about a cord and a half of maple in the pic. The smaller pieces are some Alder that was easy picking so I cut it up. I had some Ponderossa Pine last year and would love to get some more. I love the way it smells, reminds me of hunting in central oregon.

Oak oak and more oak. I have a place a mile from the house that was just logged. There is around 50 cords of tops waiting for me. Hopefully I will get time to cut it soon.
