Whats next for Stihl? Ms200? Ms300?

We had the 241 but it got discontinued for the US market. Which is a shame.

Doubt they will be bringing another in that class since the 261 is still in the middle of its model lifecycle.
How long has the 261 been out? What is a typical lifecycle? Thanks

Maybe a fuel injected 90cc saw to replace the 661? Call it the 600i?

Maybe a lighter weight 362?

Or a ms202t-cm with lighter weight than the current 201t?

Most likeliest scenarios involve more battery powered saws.

Id be surprised if they made a slightly larger 500i but maybe.

202t sounds cool but would also be surprised.

Think you are probably right on the battery saws. Stihl does seem to be a little behind in the battery saw category.

I want a saw with a 4-mix engine. I LOVE my 4-mix blower & trimmer. Very torquey, and very easy to start.

I'm really surprised that they haven't done this already.

Although, with Stihl following the current climate, and going all-in on battery tools, I suspect that much of their efforts will be on battery products, not gas engines.

Picked up a normal 261 the other week from my dealer and he told me Stihl is doing away with the limiter caps….That would be nice if true…
