I have the 77cc version that had a check valve on the carb that caused it to be too rich no matter how far the high jet was turned in. I soldered that shut & it’s a good running saw. I think you will like it.

Fellow brought in a Husqvarna 350 today, he thought he was missing the bar adjust screw because the chain jumped and then wouldn't move. Turns out the adjuster was fine (he didn't know where to look) but the bar, chain, and sprocket were all well spent.

I watched a video by Leon the other day where he was fixing a guys 925. he mentioned that some guys block off the check valve and said he doesn't recommend it. YMMV. I'm going to leave it.

took the old vise out of the concoction this morning. scrubbed all the parts under running water with scotch Brite. dried them with compressed air and them a heat gun to get all the moisture out. 3rd use of the concoction, it's got some color to it now.

this thing has not had a hard life. certainly not from a commercial environment.

put the beat up, lumpy handle balls on my lathe, took a file and several grits of sandpaper to them. didn't want to take too much off, just to make them round again. may paint tomorrow if it's warm enough.

got the old Parker vise degreased, wire brushed, removed the last vestiges of original paint and into the tub of homemade evaporust.
