whats up with this airbox/cover

Is this the way all the cool kids are running them now? Wheres the airbox? cover? Did someone get a lil crazy with the dremel?

He did it to the 046 as well. And I'll bet he put the wrong type of piston in the 084...

Surprised he doesn't have Scotchbrite filters...

If you look on an older ipl for an 064 you'll find a Stihl part number for that cover. I made one from a smashed cover and used to use it at the GTG's along with the nylon filter.
