what's wrong with this picture! Husqvarna 353 crank seals

This saw came to me as 2 torn down 353s in a box. I managed to get one of them working well. This one came to me without a seal on the PTO side. I ordered some 353 seals on ebay (aftermarket) but they seem wrong. It will fit snugly( think) around the crankshaft but there's a big gap at the outer race of the bearing? Are my seals wrong or is something strange about that bearing. Thoughts?

Bearing cage looks like it left the chat..... Replace both bearings.

PTO or clutch side is a radial seal. Need year and /or serial number for correct seal.

Ohhhhhhhhhh... just noticed...... half the bearing pocket looks gone!

You will need to find a right-hand crankcase half. The crankshaft will most likely never stay in place.

Yikes... look like I need a distraction. Ladies and gentleman, Mr. Conway Twitty...

For future reference- you tend not to put new oil seals on top of bearings where the balls of said bearing are no longer evenly spaced- and that is before even mentioning the buggered up case bearing pocket.

This saw might have been run over by a truck or dropped from a tree 45' up. Major impact.
