When do you guys retire a hitch chord? Is there some sort of standard on how much is too much wear?

I've always just kinda gone with my gut and tossed one when I felt it should go.

Glazing. Exposure of core on double braids. Any type of inconsistentcy in diameter. (bumps, hollows)

Hitch cords are touchy. Be vigilant. As an example... Ive burned out a hitch cord in a work climb at a comp. One run. So... Use your judgement.
