I am going to build a splitter. Or at least try,,, LOL
I have and axle, a 13HP Honda, a 6x32 cylinder, a tank, a beam.

So I need to buy a valve, a 22gpm pump, coupler, and mount filter housing.
I want to buy in the US as way cheaper than Canada.

So any suggestions on the best supplier?????
I have found one I like but,,,,
Hope this is not against forum rules.

X2 on Bailey's. They have their own Chief brand which works very well. I "upgraded" my homebuilt splitter a few times with bailey's stuff. 28 GPM on a Chinese 13 HP with an auto detent valve. They have it all. Reservoirs, hoses, pump brackets, filters and brackets, gauges (if you like), very affordable cylinders. And they have a very organized, professional catalog too.

I'll throw a vote in for James at Splitez. I used him when I built my splitter and COMPLETELY satisfied. Not only did he have great prices, he actually builds splitters and he will not let you waste your money as he knows what works and doesn't. He answered every question I had and stood behind what he sold me. You don't have that at most suppliers.

Done, got my hydralic parts in the USA, forget where, but they were 1/2 price of anywhere in Canada.
Might have been international hydralics.
I did have them shipped to a friend in the US and picked them up, I got the tank and cylinder local.
Splitter splits anything you want off an idle.

We stopped doing any business with Baileys after they allowed credit card and business info to be taken and FAILED to notify their customers in a timely manner.
We had a commercial account with them too, I'm not talking about just buying a few hundred $$s of stuff over a couple years.
It cost me over $2000 in fraudulent charges and easily 8hrs of time sorting it out. I bill out at $135/hr, so until they **** out ~$1000 they'll never see a penny from me.
Even before that the customer service was borderline. Once ordered some .404 harvester straps and presets. They sent me .404 presets and .750 straps. Returning it was a complete headache and took well over a month to get the correct parts... all for about $20 of parts they goofed on!

So anyhow, buyer beware!

As far as hydraulic stuff Northern Hydraulics has been around for just a few days (haha). I remember my Dad buying stuff from them in the 90s even.

Surplus Center is another.

Here I usually buy local for heavy parts unless I can find a good deal on shipping.
