We run a 575xp with a 32" when needed for the big stuff and it does fine. The stihl 650 for the price is a very good saw with a 32". I would recomend either one outfitted with maybe a 24" bar, that will give you plenty of power to buck up to a 4 foot trunk and be nimble enough to work with it. The 575 is not a popular saw on this site but mine is a fantastic worker at least 4hrs a day.
