which lanyard for palm trees

like your other question the lanyards are about the same. but like stumper said stay on the ground untill your properly trained.Also for your ladder the cable guys and power company have at the top of there ladders a vee that has rubber on it to keep the ladder from twisting around the pole but still tye the top of the ladder to the palm tree or your going to learn the hard way

Good advice. Utility poles don't move in the wind, palms do. They also will move when weight is being taken off. I've had heavily laden coconut palms that were leaning at a 70* angle stand straight up after trimming. To me it is far safer to use a ladder to go up near the top, then use spikes to move around the palm to trim it. A ladder is hard to use on leaners and IMO downright dangerous. Most of the palms we do (coconuts) have some sort of lean to them.
