Whisper Chipper charge issue

I cannot figure out why my chipper won't charge. I give up. We've been using a deep cycle battery and charging it. So, will a 1 wire alternator work?

Whatever the voltage is left in the battery. I'm really not trying to diagnose the charge issue anymore. I have replaced everything several times. I want to try a single wire alternator. Will it work?

Sure. But, there could still be a problem with battery drain while not running.

The battery will hold a charge no problem.

If the alt is putting out power then there must be a leak somewhere. You could completely change the wiring to accommodate a single wire or you could just look for the leak.
