Nah, too many years have passed. No need for grudges to held onto this long. I take there was no conclusion?

Edit... maybe it hasn't been as long as I thought. Found a post over on the "other" forum as recent as 2021. I thought it was 6-8 years ago.

I still have my WWS 550XP as well. Sad to hear all that went down. Didn't use the forum for a long while and i missed all the drama

Ran very well for the short time i could use it before it had an accident. Need to look into getting it fixed. I have way too many saws so i just grabbed another saw off the shelf and totally forgot about my 550XP.

The clutch side of the saw where the chainbrake attaches has broken on the case of the saw. Not sure if JB Weld will be ok or if i should get someone to TIG weld it. Need to look into it.
