just wondering how many of you wear your ISA jacket when you show up to a job site. alot of guys here dont. too bad for them because i get a ton of work just wearing it out. haha

hahaha you guys are funny. i dont wear it just to show off, lol. i just happen to have it on and sometimes i get work from it.

I don't have a jacket, but I wear a sticker on my hard hat. I'm kinda proud of passing the test but when it comes to climbing, it doesn't really mean nothing. The only time it counts is when your trying to impress and stay in compliance with a city, apartment complex, etc, etc. I know I'm not that great of a climber, sure I can get up the trees, make good snap cuts, rope stuff, etc, etc but there are a lot of guys just in this area that would make me look stupid. I'm not trying to belittle ISA, I enjoy the articles and learning about trees and I think there is some good to it but that ISA sticker doesn't mean squat when it comes to removing some big dead scary tree.

There are people in CT making that connection work for them very well. :)

No, it doesn't help cut trees down. :monkey: If that is all you want to do, the connection is not so beneficial. But it can open doors for removal jobs for towns and other who value higher work standards.

I don't have the jacket, but wear the hats and the patches. People seem to respect my opinion more, and that means increased sales and profit.
Worth 20 cents a day imo, unless you're broke, as are many who are in that race to the bottom with the other removal specialists.

There may be people in CT working that angle.. but they aint pruning trees legally without a CT arborist licence far as I know.

Thats so very gay , is it printed on a MEMBERS ONLY vintage blazer, I wear a company shirt with a collar or something button up , so I can hide my tattoos and fit in at the country club lol, When I estimate work I take every piece of equipment with me so they can see that I own more than just a pickup , Don't laugh it works
