You're in Albany, right? I heard there was some serious power outages up there.

Just south of Albany, but yeah alot of surrounding counties with out power. Our shop in Greenville has been running on a generator for the last 2 days and we had a crane job scheduled for tomorrow that is going to have to wait untill next week. What part of N.Y. were you in? Northern or western IIRC?

That sucks. I'm south of you near poughkeepsie. No so bad here yet, although about 1/2 my town is without power. I'm lucky enough to live 3 doors down from a guy who works for central hudson. So we usually get back online pretty quick. I hear in ulster county its pretty bad. We have a tree job over there to do once the snow stops flying..... Mike

I'm down in Binghamton. The sky has really opened up in the past hour or two. Coming down HEAVY. If my phone don't ring I'm definitely going sledding tomorrow.

Dang JPS! You ever watch the Saturday Night Live show with Debbie Downer? I think that was an auddition. But seriously, that thru me a loop.
Jeff:)

Yeah, I seen some of that.

NYC Parks has been coddling some of those trees for so long that there has been predictions that it would be worse then it has been the past few storms.

About 70 feet away, there was another fallen tree branch, lying across a park bench and a metal fence. Other fallen branches were lying in the area, and a tree in the area was collapsed over a walkway with its entire root bed exposed from a huge mound of earth.
