Hello, I’m looking to get a new 20” bar for my 400 and want to make sure this will work. I have attached the pictures of the bar. I see that it’s not on the list that stihI put on the box but I wasn’t sure if that is because it’s a pro saw/bar issue. I appreciate all the help.

I just didn’t want to pass up on the deal. I have several .325 chains. What do you mean when you ask about 3/8 set up?
That if you own a 400 I figured you would be running 3/8. All 3 parts. rim, chain. bar. All 3 have to be same.

That price is the norm on their laminated bars. Nothing special about them.

and change out your rim sprocket to 325.

Long as your chain is 050 to match the bar.
I understand now. I appreciate it. I won’t get it. I’ll buy the 3/8 bar and chain.

I got the power head for 900 dollars thinking I could run my old .325 bar and chain on it. But now I understand.

Again I appreciate it.

They got new 400 with 20" at a stihl dealer here for 950 right now.

I think the ms400 is way too much power for .325 chain.
it will be slower than 3/8 pitch in cut
