hey iv been in the stump grinding business for about a year and im doing all right i do my work door-2-door and it seems 2 be working good but do you guys have any sugestins on how 2 make my business grow?

Full time or partime?

As for the tree companies, make a contract or verbal deal with them about the stumps.

As for my background we have been doing stums for 6 years, and have averaged 40k a year working 2 days a week, just my dad normally. We have the Rayco RG50 and RG85. We live in a small county, w/ about 65k people.

That doesnt sound like enough people for full time. How many stumps can 10k people make a year? You might be doing it all.

I would set an appointment with the tree company(s) owners and talk to them about setting up a deal.

i dont just work in town i work all over wisconsin i work about 5 months out of year and i work 6 days a week and make about 3k a week i do most of my work door-2-door

My dad works full time as a local truck driver and does stumps on friday saturday. Then he also grinds during his 5 week paid vaction every year.

You wont get a decent one for that price. If you are doing full time work, you need a big one to blow through them fast.

yes by the inch i charge at lest 2 dollars an inch at the widest part of the stump
