Has anyone tried to secure the hole under the clutch bearing in toasters? To reduce draft in the crankcase
You should leave that hole open. Its purpose is to lubricate the clutch bearing.

Other chainsaws do not have this hole
But yours does. It’s a designed in leak.Other chainsaws do not have this hole

If you have to plug that hole, then there is something else wrong that needs attention.

Crankshaft seals
Just change the seals and don't worry about the hole.
For a P100
FW side 15x26x7
Clutch side 20x40x7

These sealants are very hard to fit, corrosion holds them together. The outer side of the sealant is steel. I saw a set of pullers once, maybe someone can recommend some?
Take a punch and drive the seal in just a bit to break it loose. Sometimes if i have room I use a tiny drill bit and drill a hole in the seal, then put a metal screw in it then pry it up and out.
I suppose this item is unobtanium????? On my pro Mac 1000.
