I received a new 10' wall safety wire core flip line non-swivel snap from okitreedude.
Tried it out cleaning out 2 mature silver maples. I removed my petzl micro grab from my 8' yale lanyard and installed it to the new wire core. Any time your using new gear your alittle nervous, but it didn't take long to win my approval and confidence. I really like it alot, its very flexible and I like having the extra 2' I'm not used to having with my other lanyard. As noted earlier in this thread, the crimping that holds the rope to the core and end is very beefy, looks like it will hold up to sum punishment. I also like the non-swivel snap better.
I did feel safer running my saw using wire core. I would recommend getting one.
