Sorry.....not :hmm3grin2orange:

But it's true, with out AS and it's good people (99.5% ;) ) I would
have not been able to replace the PC kit on this 18 year old sweet thing,
she was born in the last part of 1988 (e-mailed Stihl, about MD they, answered in 10 min!)
I have run 4 tanks through her, she starts, runs
and idles very good. The 064 is becoming my favorite saw, some of the
reasons First she was free! how she cuts, and that I got to bring her
back to life, from what I have learned from AS and it's good people
(Maybe 99.99%)

Thanks, Gary..........Now the Pics

064

That is the exact reason I want one, they look cool and they WILL cut, and last a long time, and tough. Although I wonder which size bar to put on mine when I get it, I am going to put a 24 on my 660 when I get it, I was thinking more along the lines of a 20 for my 064. Again, very nice saw trigger time, she's in very good condition!:biggrinbounce2: :hmm3grin2orange: ;) :D

They Stihl make the 064, but it's called the 650, same casing as the 066 and 200$ cheaper. A real fast saw right out of the box if you use a dual port muffler.

Thanks guys, here is some work she done.....Ice up rooted
trees on the farm. This one is a Shingle Oak
Sorry about the pic......forgot again to check camera settings :bang:

440, A 24" BC has a very good balance on the 064, When I have the $
I will get a 28" BC to fill the hole between my 24" and 36" BC.

As far as I know Stihl never made a DP cover for the 064.
But the new Stihl 064 PC kit I installed has a longer exhaust flange
on the cylinder......So now it has a 066 muffler With a
Dual Port muffler cover on it.....I also put a late model
066 carb on it.

They did.. but it only fit the OLD style muffler... Update the muffler (use a spacer if required for your cylinder) and as you know, you can use the 066 DP..

064 & 066 mufflers

Pics of 066 (left pic) and early 064 muffler (right) the covers
will not interchange. The 064 mufler dosen't have a place for
a screen, unless that is why the tube is there...........Lake?

I know they still make the 650 in place of the 064, I just want a 064. But thanks john. Where ya been? Trigger time, that is some vrey nice oak you have there, very nice saw too. Okay, I guess when I get mine I will put a 24 on it. I think it will be a little too powerful for a 20. How big was that oak at the base? By the looks of the double heart, it was pretty big. :)

That's an old style NON-USA muffler.. Some countries don't care about the screen (still). There is also an old style screen muffler.

440, I don't know the dia. You are looking at the crotch in the pic
If you look in the pic, it was two trees side by side, when the ice
took them down one fell on my land the other on the cattle ranch
(over 25,000 acres) next to me. I may go take a pic of a BIG white
oak the ice fell.
