wood splitter tonnage question

I just bought a 35 T huskee been splitting osage twists and a years worth I couldnt split by hand. and not been off idle speed, real pleased so far

found a used brave 22 ton 5.5hp. thing is tough. splits elm white and red oak with no problem. 22 inch max. needs bigger tires though. only paid 900:greenchainsaw::givebeer:

I noticed Home Hardware was selling the exact same Surge Master for $100 less than Home Depot, so I took advantage of the Home Depot low price guarantee and took in the Home Hardware flyer - got it at the Home Hardware price MINUS 10 percent, for a total price before tax of just over $1700! Thanks home depot!
 
They were working on a 4 way wedge, as of last summer. Dunno what's become of that idea.

Mark, the four way wedges are currently available through TSC for the 28 and 35 ton Huskee models. They are only for straight grained or soft woods.
Tell them to order SpeeCo p/n# 401443.
