Two big trees standing side by side in the woods,
one a big beech and one a big birch.
They both noticed a small sappiling growing down between them
One tree said to the other tree I wonder whose son it is?
Is it the son of a beech or the son of a birch?
Well neither could tell they were so tall and that little sappiling so small it was just to far away.
A wood pecker flew in and landed on the beech,
The two big trees asked the wood pecker if he wouldn't mind to fly down to that little sappiling and see what kind of tree it was,
was it the son of a beech or the son of a birch,
so the wood pecker obliged them and flew down to the little sappiling
he returned shortly after and the two trees again asked
so which is it the son of a beech or the son of a birch
the wood pecker replied neither,
It was the best piece of ash he ever had !!!!!

Well, there used to be wood cross braces in kites, so...
A fellow was out trying to fly a kite. Up it would go, then BAM!!!into the ground. Again he tried it and again BAM!!! it would loop and dive into the ground.
His wife watched from the patio door for a half hour drinking her coffee while he tried over and over again to make the kite stay aloft. Finally, she could stand it no longer and said, "Honey, I think you need more tail."
"That's what I told you," he said "and you said 'Go fly a kite.'"
