Will do on the bar and chain...not sure what size to get...whats the max, as if I need one much longer, that this saw should run?

Out in these parts an 85cc saw will pull a 36" bar in the softwoods all day long mang!

I'd put like a 20" or 24". Tx doesnt have that big of trees maybe some live oaks but we try to keep those standing.

That saw has no touble in hardwoods around here with a 36" either.!

weird looking chain

It may be LP chisel or DG semi-chisel, they have bumper links, supposed
to keep vibration down, the bar looked like a non replaceable sprocket
tip from pictures. A 5400 with a 20" bar is kinda like a monkey riding a football,
they will much run longer, but longer bars cost more & more cutters to sharpen;
depends on the need.
I have a 24" Oregon power match on mine & a 20" on the 4200.
