I have an opportunity to buy a Yanmar YM330D tractor. 4x4, front end loader, decent condition. I looked at it over one year ago. The previous owner either blew a head gasket or cracked the head. They proceeded to run it all summer on straight water, then left it outside in -30 winter. When I pulled the dipstick or oil fill cap (can't remember), gallon after gallon of pure water poured out like a garden hose. The crankcase was entirely filled with water, and it had been that way for 4 or 5 years outside in the cold.
I'd like to either find another 3T84A engine for it, or find a close substitute engine that will work.
If anyone knows of a source for that exact engine, or a suitable substitute, please let me know.
