Well, believe it or not, I'm home.

That was the longest, most painful trip from Nashville I have ever endured. :(

So I'm camping out in the recliner. Just me, muh phone and muh ice packs.

Oh, and my Perceset's. :)

I got a feeling it's gonna be a long couple weeks...

Glad you made it through ok.
Get some rest and recover well.

I hope it is comfy. After my shoulder surgery I had to sleep in my chair for about 10 days. I seem to recall a bit of Percocet being consumed at that time, also.

Dacia, thanks for the updates when Jeremy was in the operating room netherland.

I don't talk to the guy upstairs much, but I did have a conversation with him about Jeremy. I mentioned that, while he was keeping his eye on one of our favorite AS members, he might inspire the doctor to do a woods port on Jeremy, with a bit of a muff mod. I mentioned he could advance Jeremy's timing a little bit too. I explained that simple modifications such as this should not in any way shorten Jeremy's life, but would in fact make said life even more productive. Not that there is a damn thing wrong with a truly nice and giving man, you understand.

Well, no doubt the big guy in the attic already knew all that. He seemed pretty bored by our whole exchange. Probably he's heard from about gazillion doubters like me before, and knows the territory. :)

Glad, so glad, to hear you are repaired and put back together, my friend Jeremy. I wish you'd start doing porting work, though.

I should had read that an hour ago....

Well, I just had a suprise visit from da ambulance. Walked up the steps into the kitchen to get me a drink, and told the wife I wasn't feeling good and just blacked out. She caught me, believe it or not, so I didn't bounce off the hard wood. I figure it was just the medicine, and so did the EMT's, as all muh vitals are spot on. So, I've been banned from leaving the couch. Rightly so I guess.

I'm good though guys. Seriously. Just thought id share.

Y'all keep me in ur prayers.

Its a difficult transition from running a hot ported 66 on Monday, to Thursday I can't even pour a glass of tea.

I was in a similar boat a few months ago when I busted my arm and it required surgery to put it back together. Had to sit out the second (best) half of fire season on top of everything else. Best thing to do is worry about healing, and blow off everything else. What the hell, might as well catch up on your reading, right?
