Wow, I just checked this and found out the deed was done!

I had had you in my thoughts Jeremy, now just take it darn easy for a while. I know first hand how hard that is to not be able to do what your used to after a surgery and I know it sucks, just do it.

When your better if you dont already have one go get yourself a new HARD mattress. Best thing I have ever done to eliminate my back problems.

Those pillow top things will cripple ya..

Must have been some REALLY great pain meds!:yoyo:

You do just what the Dr. says!!!!!! Been there done that twice over the last 17 yrs ! The first 12 yrs. I was just fine then 2 yrs. ago I had the second surgery.Have went down hill ever since !And now I can't work but I still get around and play with saws! LOL Mine is all genes passed down from Dad LOL Guess I am trying to tell you be very careful from now on with everything you do!All the Drs. have told me once one goes the next one up gets more pressure on it to take up the slack. So it happens much easier the next time!Just be very aware of how you do anything from now on and you will be just fine!

Well..... That's done.

Doc said it was every bit as bad as it looked on the MRI, but was an easy breezy fix. I'm sore as crap, but amazingly alert. Kinda odd.

Sure do wish I had some chains to file or something.

:msp_thumbsup: Have a speedy recovery! :msp_thumbsup:

Good lord.

What a night guys. I can't eat nothin cause muh throat feels like its full of treble hooks, can't bend over, or pretty much bend my neck at all. Even a little bit. Can't lay down by myself, can't get up by myself. My wife don't even trust me to take a pizz by myself after last nights debacle.

I guess I don't blame her though.

Man, I hope I heal up soon. I'm gonna go freakin nuts!!!!

hey wiggs,
ya still thinkin ya'd like some chains to file ??
or did you change your mind for good ??

take it easy and heel up....you got a GTG coming up soon dontcha /??

Seldom is recovery linear. It seems that it gets a little better one day, only to backslide a little the next. On average it's getting better, you just may not be realizing it at the time. Manage your pain as perscribed. A lot of people try to "tough" it out, that's a mistake. They hold off till they can no longer stand it only to find the pain pills aren't working and they're needlessly suffering. You want to stay on top of it the best you can.

Brad, Nik, your oh so right.

As much as I hate to be doped up, and treated as a toddler, I have no choice. Without the medicine, im in pain and worthless. With the medicine, at least I'm not in pain. Lol.

Just gonna have to Give it some time, and heal up.

All u guys have no idea how much the kind words, and encouragement means to me and my family. I appreciate each and every one of ya, more than I could ever show ya.

Thanks guys!!

Your oh so right about that my friend. I remember having total reconstructive knee surgery in April 1994. I remember the nurse sticking me with a needle full of morphine every so hours, and when I got out of the hospital a couple days later, i told them i didnt want anything addictive for pain, that some high powered tylenol or whatever would do. I remember the Dr. and nurse saying that wasnt a good idea but that if i insisted then so be it. Well, lol, that lasted about 2 days before I was finally in tears, then called the hospital and and had my dad run up there and get me the good stuff. So yes, the tuff guy act is for the birds. Absolutely no need to suffer. Take the pain meds and and follow Dr.'s orders and its as simple as that IMO. And i found recovery from the knee surgery to be what Nik described as well, in being some good days and bad days but overall healing.

You'd better check that shop with the open door, lol!

Lol. Nah, I opened it. I usually just kick it open, but I couldn't pull it shut. My oldest boy came and shut it.

I don't think I'll be making any trips out there any time soon. The percesets have my trippin schedule all planned out for me.
